Summary
In today’s meeting, Committee discussed regarding “Grant Policy” sent for review by Ministry of Youth Empowerment, Information and Arts. Kaashidhoo Constituency Member Munthazim Ibrahim proposed to request the Ministry to resubmit the policy for review after incorporating the comments from Attorney General’s Office and Ministry of Planning. It was seconded by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim.
The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
Next, the Committee started reviewing the Organ Transplant Bill. During the process, Nilandhoo Constituency Member Fathimath Sauda proposed to remove sections (7) (b) (5) and (6). It was seconded by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim.
