Summary
In today’s meeting, the Committee proceeded with the work of reviewing the 2024 Annual Report of Local Councils submitted by the Local Government Authority. Following deliberation, North Henveyru Constituency Member Ahmed Aifan proposed to request the Local Government Authority to submit a PowerPoint presentation regarding this report on 08 June 2026, as the previously scheduled date of 06 April 2026 was declared a government holiday by the President. The proposal was seconded by Kolamaafushi Constituency Member Ibrahim Didi.
The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
