Summary

In today’s meeting appointment of the Committee Chairperson was scheduled. Director Legal Affairs, Aishath Shifa presided over the selection process.


Naifaru Constituency Member Yaaseen Abdulla proposed to elect Central Maafannu Member Asma Rasheed as the Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by North Galolhu Constituency Member Mohamed Ibrahim.

The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.


Next, Dhaandhoo Constituency Member Mohamed Fazeel proposed to elect West Maafannu Constituency Member Mohamed Musthafa Ibrahim as the Vice Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by Kaashidhoo Constituency Member Munthazim Ibrahim.

The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
