Summary
In this meeting, the Committee discussed the matter referred by the President seeking approval to amend Schedule 1 of Drugs Act (17/2011).
In this regard, MP Hamad Abdulla of North Fuvahmulah constituency proposed, and MP Mohamed Shahid of Hulhudhoo constituency seconded the motion to approve the matter referred by the President for removal of Methylphenidate, listed under number 89 of Schedule 1 (Prohibited Drugs) of Drugs Act (17/2011), from the said Schedule.
The motion was passed unanimously by the members present at the time of voting.
