Summary
Today the committee reviewed the approval request from the President for the appointed Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises, as per article 129 (a) of the constitution. Once the Chairman opened the floor for members, Central Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ali Fazad proposed to approve HM. Flat No. C1-3-B, Hassan Zareer, who has been appointed as the Minister of Finance and Public Enterprises by the President. And it was seconded by Vilufushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed.
The motion was passed unanimously by the members present at the time of voting.
After that, the committee discussed the matter of approving the name and mandate changes to some ministries sent by the President as per article 116 (a) of the constitution.
Once the Chairperson opened the floor, Central Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ali Fazad proposed to approve the name and mandate changes to the ministries in accordance with the President’s recommendation. It was seconded by Vilufushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed.
The motion was passed unanimously by the members present at the time of voting.
