Summary
In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the issue sent for approval of M.Faiza, Mohamed Nizar as the Chairman of the Privatization and Corporatization Board, as per Article 9 (a) and (b) of Act No: 3/2013 (Privatization and Corporatization Act). The committee decided 23rd June 2026 as the deadline for the above-mentioned issue, as proposed by Ihavandhoo constituency member Ahmed Naseer and seconded by Kinbidhoo constituency member Ali Ashrag. This proposal was passed unanimously.
Subsequently, the committee deliberated on the matter submitted by North Galolhu constituency member Mohamed Ibrahim, seeking clarification regarding the security measures at the ports of Maldives Ports Limited. In this regard, the Committee Chair proposed to share the information provided by the company concerning the matter with the Member. This proposal was passed unanimously.
Next, the 2025 Annual Report of the Housing Development Finance Corporation was shared with the committee members.
