Summary
The committee meeting was held to review the matter sent for approval of GA.Dhaandhoo / Amaaz, Ms. Zaina Abdulla as a Member of the Privatization and Corporatization Board, as per Article 4 (a) and (b) of Act No: 3/2013 (Privatization and Corporatization Act). In that regard, the matter was assigned to the committee's secretariat to proceed with verifying whether the individual meets the qualifications for the appointed position, pursuant to Section 223 (a) of the Standing Orders of the People's Majlis. Then, the committee decided 08th July 2026 as the deadline for the above-mentioned issue, as proposed by Faresmaathodaa constituency member Ashraf Rasheed and seconded by Kinbidhoo constituency member Ali Ashrag. This proposal was passed unanimously.
