Summary
In today's meeting, the committee deliberated on a matter submitted regarding the failure of Fenaka Corporation Limited to respond to a letter sent by the Kanditheemu constituency member Ameen Faisal on 3rd December 2025, seeking clarification on the services provided by the corporation within his constituency. In this regard, Dhiggaru constituency member Ahmed Nazim proposed to bring this matter to the corporation's attention and to instruct them to ensure such lapses do not recur in the future. This proposal was seconded by South Fuvahmulah constituency member Ibrahim Hussain and was passed unanimously by the members present and voting.
Furthermore, South Fuvahmulah constituency member Ibrahim Hussain proposed to seek further information regarding the services provided by Fenaka Corporation Limited and to meet with relevant officials from the company. This proposal was seconded by Faresmaathodaa constituency member Ashraf Rasheed and was passed unanimously by the members present and voting.
Subsequently, the committee discussed regarding the 2025 Annual Report of the Privatization and Corporatization Board and the issue submitted by the North Galolhu constituency member Mohamed Ibrahim concerning the board’s fulfillment of its responsibilities as the regulatory body for state owned enterprises. In order to address these matters, Dhiggaru constituency member Ahmed Nazim proposed to meet with officials from the Board.
