Summary
In today’s meeting the committee reviewed the annual report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the missions under the Ministry for the year 2024. The committee discussed the annual report from the Consulate in Jeddah.
And then the Committee reviewed the issues sent by the President regarding the appointment of Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA).
Accordingly, Member for North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency Mohamed Dawood proposed to approve the issue sent by the President on the appointment of Mr. Thorig Ibrahim (G.Noomaraa Hiyaa) as the Permanent Representative to the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA). This was seconded by Member for Guraidhoo Constituency Hanan Mohamed Rasheed. The motion was passed with a Majority vote by the members present at the meeting.
