Summary

The committee held a meeting with Privatization and Corporatization Board to discuss the issue submitted, requesting an assessment of the effectiveness of the board in fulfilling its responsibilities as the governing body of State-Owned Enterprises and the board’s annual report for the year 2025.


Following the discussions with the Privatization and Corporatization Board, Faresmaathodaa constituency member Ashraf Rasheed proposed to share the information received regarding this issue with the member who submitted the issue. This proposal was seconded by Kinbidhoo constituency member Ali Ashrag and was passed unanimously by the members present and voting in the committee.


Thereafter, as clarification had been obtained from the board's officials regarding the Privatization and Corporatization Board's 2025 Annual Report, Kinbidhoo constituency member Ali Ashrag proposed to file the report. This proposal was seconded by South Fuvahmulah constituency member Ibrahim Hussain and was passed unanimously by the members present and voting in the committee.
