Summary
Today’s meeting was conducted at the request of the Maldives Monetary Authority (MMA) to share information regarding the current economic situation of the Maldives and the measures taken by the MMA in accordance with its monetary policy.
In accordance with the request of the MMA, Funadhoo Constituency member Mohamed Mamdooh, proposed that the meeting be held in confidence as per the Section 46(a)(2) of the Standing Order. The proposal was seconded by Guraidhoo Constituency member Hanan Mohamed Rasheed and passed by majority.
