Summary
The agenda of today's meeting was to interview the Presidential nominee for the position of Information Commissioner.
In this regard, the President decided to award marks in compliance with the standard passed by the General Purposes Committee as per Article 223 (c) of the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis.
Since the Presidential nominee for the position of Information Commissioner scored more than 75 percent marks in the interview, the majority of the Committee found that the Presidential nominee was qualified for the position and to send the Committee’s decision for Parliament’s consideration.
