Summary

In this meeting, the committee revisited the amendment proposed to section 64 (d) of the Tax Administration Act (No. 3/2010) in section 67 of the Bill on amendment to the Tax Administration Act (No. 3/2010), upon advise by Counsel General to remove the amendment proposed, as the amendment proposed had reverted the Section back to the same phrasing stated in Section 64 (d) of the Act. In this regard, Funadhoo constituency member Mohamed Mamdhooh proposed to remove amendment proposed to Section 64 (d) of the Act from the bill and it was seconded by Faresmaathodaa Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed.

Members present at the time of the voting unanimously passed this proposal.

 

After that North Feydhoo Constituency Member Ismail Nizar proposed to pass the bill again along with the amendments passed by the committee; and it was seconded by Faresmaathodaa Constituency Member Ashraf Rasheed. Members present at the time of the voting unanimously passed this proposal.
