Summary
In today's meeting, the committee proceeded with the work of reviewing the issues submitted to the committee. First, regarding the submitted issue requesting an investigation and action to be taken against the Secretary General of the Hdh. Hanimaadhoo Council, Henveiru North Constituency Member Ahmed Aifan proposed sending a letter to the LGA, Civil Service Commission, and the Ministry of Finance to clarify further information regarding the allegations made in the issue. This proposal was seconded by Vilufushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed. When this proposal was put to a vote, it was passed unanimously by the members present at the committee who participated in the vote.
Afterwards, as the submitted issue requesting a review of the salary, allowances, and position of the Secretary Generals of the Councils has become obsolete, Henveiru North Constituency Member Ahmed Aifan proposed to file the issue without proceeding further. This proposal was seconded by Vilufushi Constituency Member Hassan Waheed. When this proposal was put to a vote, it was passed unanimously by the members present at the committee who participated in the vote.
