Summary

During today’s meeting, the committee proceeded with the appointment of the Committee Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the committee. Shabana Rasheed, Director General, presided over the selection process of Committee Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson.

 

Funadhoo Constituency member Mohamed Mamdooh proposed to elect Eydhafushi Constituency member Ahmed Saleem as the Chairperson and to elect Central Fuvahmulah Constituency member Ali Fazad as the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by kelaa Constituency member Abdulla Shareef and passed unanimously. The voting details are on “Votes” section of this page.
