Introduction
This committee was established following the referral of a resolution to a Joint Committee of Committee on National Development and Heritage and Committee on Social Affairs . The resolution, proposed by Kanditheemu Contituency Member Honorable Ameen Faisal during the 9th session of the second term of 2025 of the 20th People's Majlis held on June 30, 2025, seeks to determine the position of Members of the Parliament on overtime payment policies for education and healthcare workers and establishing a fair working environment for them.
