Speaker of the People’s Majlis departs to India on an official visit

Hon. Abdul Raheem Abdulla, Speaker of the People’s Majlis, has departed to New Delhi, India to participate in the 28th Conference of Speakers and Presiding Officers of the Commonwealth, being held from January 13-18, 2026.
Hon. Speaker’s delegation includes Hon. Mohamed Shahid, MP for Hulhudhoo Constituency; Mr. Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, Chief of Bureau and Ms. Aishath Eaman, Senior Foreign Relations Officer of the Secretariat.
