Hon. Abdul Raheem Abdulla, Speaker of the People’s Majlis, has departed to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, to attend the 2nd Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference (ISC-2), scheduled to be held from August 26 to 28, 2026.

Hon. Speaker will address the General Debate of ISC-2, held under the theme, “Solidarity for Peace and Shared Prosperity: Strengthening International Law and Resolving Conflicts Peacefully.”

Hon. Speaker’s delegation comprises Hon. Mohamed Shahid, MP for Hulhudhoo Constituency; Hon. Musthafa Hussain, MP for South Mahchangoalhi Constituency; Hon. Ashraf Rasheed, MP for Faresmaathodaa Constituency; Ahmed Nihan Hussain Manik, Chief of Bureau and Zuyyina Badhree, Assistant Director General of Foreign Relations Department.

Inter-Parliamentary Speakers’ Conference brings together Speakers and parliamentary leaders to deliberate on issues relating to peace, international law, conflict resolution, and shared prosperity.
