Summary

In today's meeting, the appointment of the Committee chair and Deputy chair of the committee was scheduled as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2nd sitting of the 20th Majlis.


Hulhudhoo Constituency member Mohamed Shahid’s name was proposed as the Chair of the committee by South Feydhoo Constituency member Ibrahim Didi and it was seconded by Dhuvaafaru Constituency member Mohamed Ali and Hulhudhoo Constituency member Mohamed Shahid was elected as the Committee chair by unanimous vote.


Next, Holhudhoo Constituency member Abdul Sattar Mohamed’s name was proposed as the Deputy Chair of the committee by South Henveyru Constituency member Hussain Imran Latheef and was seconded by South Feydhoo Constituency member Ibrahim Didi and Holhudhoo Constituency member Abdul Sattar Mohamed was elected as the Deputy chair of the Committee by unanimous vote.
