Summary

In today's meeting, appointment of the Committee chair and Deputy chair of the committee was scheduled as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2nd sitting of the 20th Majlis.


Mohamed Ali of Gahdhoo Constituency's name was proposed as the Chair of the committee by North Henveyru Constituency member Ahmed Aifan and it was seconded by Velidhoo Constituency member Mohamed Abbaas and Gahdhoo Constituency member Mohamed Ali was elected as the Committee chair by an unanimous vote.


Then, North Henveyru Constituency member Ahmed Aifan of name was proposed as the Deputy Chair of the committee by Madaveli Constituency member Mohamed Shameez and was seconded by Velidhoo Constituency member Mohamed Abbaas . North Henveyru Constituency member Ahmed Aifan was elected as the Deputy chair of the Committee by an unanimous vote.
