Summary

In today's meeting, appointment of the Committee chair and Deputy chair of the committee was scheduled as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2nd sitting of the 20th Majlis.

Director Legal Affairs Uza. Aishath Shifa presided over the selection process of committee's chairperson and vice chairperson.

Villimale' Constituency member Mohamed Ismail proposed to elect Dhidhdhoo Constituency Member Abdul Latheef Mohamed as the Chair of the Committee. It was seconded by Madaveli Constituency Member Mohamed Shameez and passed unanimously.


Villimale' Constituency member Mohamed Ismail proposed to elect North Hulhumale’ Constituency Member Hussain Shareef as the Vice Chair of the Committee. It was seconded by Milandhoo Constituency member Hassan Mufeed Abdul Gadir and passed unanimously.
