In today's meeting, appointment of the Committee chair and Deputy chair of the committee was scheduled as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2nd sitting of the 20th Majlis.

Director General Shabana Rasheed presided over the selection process of committee's chairperson and vice chairperson.

Eydahafushi Constituency Member Ahmed Saleem proposed to elect Maamigili Constituency Member Qasim Ibrahim as the Chair of the Committee. It was seconded by Baarashu Constituency Member Ibrahim Shujau. Below is the vote details of the appointment.
