- The agenda for today's meeting was to elect a chair and vice-chair of the committee. Deputy Director, Mr. Hassan Adhuham conducted the process of the chairman and vice-chair of the committee.

When it was opened for submission of names or a name of a person who appeared to be the chair of the committee, Maafannu South constituency MP Abdulla Rifau's name was proposed by Mathiri constituency Mp Hassan Zareer and Thinadhoo South MP Mohamed Alsan Ahmed supported the proposal. Maafannu South MP Abdulla Rifau was elected as the chair of the committee with 10 votes.

Mathiri constituency MP Hassan Zareer was proposed Mulaku constituency MP Ibrahim Naufal for the vice-chair. The proposal was supported by Villufushi constituency MP Hassan Waheed. Mulaku constituency MP Ibrahim Naufal was elected as the deputy chair of the committee with 10 votes.
