Summary

This meeting was the selection of a chairperson of the committee. Legal Officer Uza. Shahzadh Saeed, conducted the process of selecting the chairman of the committee.

Kolamaafushi Constituency MP Ibrahim didi proposed the name of Maafushi Constituency MP Hussain Riza Adam, this proposal was seconded by kelaa Constituency MP Abdulla Shareef.

Hence, Maafushi Constituency Member Hussain Riza Adam was elected as the Chair of the Committee.


Meanwhile, Thlusdhoo Constituency MP Ibrahim Naseem proposed the name of Kelaa Constituency MP Abdulla Shareef as deputy chair, this proposal was seconded by kolamafshi Constituency MP Ibrahim Did.

With the vote of 10 members Kelaa MP Abdulla Shareef was unanimously elected as the deputy chair of the committee.

Hence, Kelaa Constituency Member Abdulla Shareef was elected as the Deputy Chair of the Committee.


After that Committee discussed on which days of the week committee will meet and how many days, after the discussion, committee decided that three days in a week (Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday) will meet for discussion on issues proposed to the committee.
