Summary

In today's meeting, the agenda was the election of the committee Chairperson and deputy Chairperson of the committee, as the newly elected members were allocated to the committees in the 2nd sitting of the 20th Majlis.

Director General Legal Affairs Aminath Asma conducted the election of the Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.

North Mahchangolhi Constituency Member Ibrahim Muhammad proposed to elect Mathiveri constituency Member Hassan Zareer as the Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency Member Mohamed Dawood. Therefore, Mathiveri constituency Member Hassan Zareer was elected as the Chairperson of the Committee.

 

Kendhikulhudhoo Constituency Member Mohamed Afoo Hamid proposed to elect North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency Member Mohamed Dawoodh as the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee. It was seconded by Vilingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez. Therefore, North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency Member Mohamed Dawoodh was elected as the Deputy Chairperson of the Committee.
