Summary

In today’s meeting, the Committee discussed the working and voting quorum of the committee. North Hulhumale’ Constituency Member Hussain Shareef proposed to pass the voting quorum of 7 members. It was seconded by kinbidhoo constituency member Ali Ashraq and was passed unanimously.

 

Maavashu Constituency Member Ahmed Shaakir proposed a working quorum of 4 members, which was seconded by Villimale’ constituency Member Mohamed Ismail and was passed unanimously.

 

Furthermore, the committee discussed the amendments to be brought to the draft of the Code of Conduct on members’ Privilege and Ethics. Regarding this, the members decided to propose opinions to the committee on the next meeting after further assessment of the draft.
