In today's meeting, the committee discussed the guidelines for proceeding with the meetings. Second, the committee discussed the issue sent by the President on the matter of the appointment of ambassadors to foreign countries in accordance with Article 115(d) of the Constitution and Article 14 of Act No. 20/2021 (the Maldives Foreign Services Act).

North Mahchangolhi Constituency member Ibrahim Mohamed proposed to get the records information from the relevant authorities and to continue this issue without the interview process. This proposal was seconded by Vilingili constituency member Azim Abdul Azeez. Below are the voting details for the proposal.
