Summary
In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the matter referred by President under Article 93 (a) of the Constitution of the Republic of the Maldives for the approval of the Parliament on the signing of the "Partnership Agreement Between the European Union and its Member States of the One Part and Members of the Organization of African Caribbean and Pacific States of the Other Part" or the "Samoa Agreement"
Kendhikulhudhoo Constituency member Mohamed Afoo Hamidh proposed to approve the agreement with the 'Declaration' and 'Reservation' included in this matter. It was seconded by Vilingili Constituency member Azim Abdul Azeez.
Therefore, The matter referred by the President for the approval of the Parliament on the signing of the "Partnership Agreement Between the European Union and its Member States of the One Part and Members of the Organization of African Caribbean and Pacific States of the Other Part" or the "Samoa Agreement" with the 'Declaration' and 'Reservation' included in this matter was passed unanimously.
