In today’s meeting the committee held discussions whether to include copy letters in the guideline of the process to be followed for the documents received to the committee.

After the discussions, Maamigili constituency member Gasim Ibrahim proposed to pass the amendment; it was seconded by Hulhudhoo Constituency member Mohamed Shahid.

Next, North Maafannu Constituency member Mohamed Nazim proposed to meet the the line ministries and the relevant authorities within the committee mandate to share the concerns.

Then Central Hithadhooo Constituency member Azaan Marzooq proposed to form a subcommittee of four members to consider the following matters and to conduct an inquiry regarding the matters; it was seconded by Maamigili Constituency member Qasim Ibrahim.

1.  Hydrography agreement between India and Maldives.

2.  The process of signing of Agreement of Uthuruthilafalhu.

3.  Agreement of the Dornier Helicopter.
