In this meeting, the committee discussed an issue received from the public claiming that some members of Tax Appeal Tribunal interfere with the administrative work of the Tribunal and decided to file the issue as the issue is being reviewed by the Judiciary Committee.

A letter received from AA. Himandhoo Council requesting to increment the salary of their staff was discussed and decided to inform the council to coordinate with National Pay Commission regarding the salary of the staff.

Kendhikulhudhoo Council's request to increase the budget for the governing councils was discussed, and the committee decided to inform the council to coordinate with Ministry of Finance regarding the Budget allocations to the councils.

After that, the members discussed an issue regarding the salary of the Children's Ombudsperson compared to the members of the other Independent Institutions received from the Children's Ombudsperson's Office. Baarashu Constituency member Ibrahim Shujau proposed to request the information from National Pay Commission whether they have any plans to bring any changes to the salaries and allowances proposed by the People's Majlis. It was seconded by Central Hithadhoo Contituency member Ahmed Azaan Marzooq.
