In today’s meeting, the committee discussed the matter referred by the President for the approval of the Parliament on "Treaty between the Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.” North Mahchangolhi Constituency Member Ibrahim Muhammad proposed to pass the treaty, it was seconded by Maradhoo Constituency member Ibrahim Didi.
Therefoe the proposal for committee’s approval for the "Treaty between the Government of the Republic of Maldives and the Government of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters.” Was passed unanimously.
