In this meeting committee discussed about deadline for completion of the review of the amendment bill to the Act no. 23/2010 ( Copyrights & Related Rights Act) and how to proceed with the bill. In this regard, North Thinadhoo constituency member Saudhulla Hilmee proposed to set 05^th August 2024 as a deadline to complete committee works of the bill and it was seconded by South Hithadhoo constituency member Ibrahim Nazil. South Hithadhoo constituency member Ibrahim Nazil proposed to meet the ministries mentioned in the stakeholders listed above and to get written comments from other institutions on the aforementioned list.

Informal discussions were held to meet the ministries mentioned in the above list together in one sitting. After these discussions, North Thinadhoo constituency member Saudhulla Hilmee proposed to meet 03 ministries mentioned in the stakeholders list in one committee meeting, to meet Ministry of Economic Development thereafter and to get comments in writing from other institutions on the aforementioned list.

After this proposal, South Hithadhoo constituency member Ibrahim Nazil withdrew his proposal.
