Summary
In today’s meeting, the committee discussed the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis passed on the 19th sitting of the Parliament on 24th July 2024. Some conflicts in the mandate of this committee were highlighted, and the committee decided to continue this discussion in the next meeting. The Committee also decided to hold an informal meeting with the Chairperson of the General-purpose Committee of the Parliament on the matter. It was also decided to consider proceeding work on other responsibilities of the Committee.
