Committee Meeting - People's Majlis of Maldives

Summary

In today’s meeting, the committee met with the members of the National Integrity Commission.

The committee was briefed about the work being done by the commission, what they plan on doing in the future, and the difficulties and challenges faced by them in carrying out their work.

Also, regarding the resolution submitted by Baarashu Constituency Member Ibrahim Shujau, to understand the views of the 20^th Majlis regarding the increasing number of members of parliament every five years, it was decided to hold discussion meetings with all the registered and active political parties in the political parties list of the Election Commission, and five members from the Drafting Committee of the Special Parliament.
