Summary
Today’s agenda was to meet with a team from the Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD), to discuss training and other support mentioned in their email. In this meeting, WFD shared their previous works with the parliament, their upcoming training programs and possible policy level support and assistance to the parliament on climate related matters.
And WFD also answered members questions on challenges in implementing laws in the Maldives, role of the parliament in climate related matters and possible support from WFD to the committee.
