Summary
In today’s meeting, the committee discussed the progress of its work. Vilimale Constituency member Mohammed Ismail and Madaveli Constituency member Mohamed Shameez seconded that clause 61 and 118 of the Standing Order of the People’s Majlis requires an amendment.
In addition, the committee discussed the work of drafting a code of conduct as per the Standing Order of People’s Majlis. The committee members asked the committee administrative staff to prepare a research paper and a draft of the code of conduct before the start of the session after the recess.
