Summary
In today’s meeting the committee reviewed the 2023 Annual Report of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Committee's Chairperson proposed setting a deadline of October 31, 2024 for the completion of the 2023 Annual Reports of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the 17 missions under the Ministry. This proposal was passed unanimously.
Then the committee’s chairperson proposed to send a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to inquire about the assistance that was being given to Maldivian students and Maldivians who are in the Kursk region, which is currently facing threatening situations. The motion was passed unanimously without a vote, as the members of the committee did not object to it.
