In today’s meeting, the committee reviewed the issue sent by the President on the matter of the appointment of ambassador to Republic of India in accordance with an Article 115(d) of the Constitution and Article 14 of Act No. 20/2021 (the Maldives Foreign Services. North Kulhudhuffushi Constituency member Mohamed Dawoodh proposed to pass the appointment without the interview process. This proposal was seconded by Kendhikulhudhoo constituency member Mohamed Afoo Hamid. This proposal was passed unanimously.

It was seconded by South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain. This proposal was passed unanimously.
