Summary
In this meeting committee discussed about extend deadline for completion of review of the of the amendment bill to the Act no. 23/2010 (The Copyright and related rights Act) and how to proceed with the bill. In this regard, North Thinadhoo constituency member Saudhulla Hilmee proposed to extend deadline to complete committee works of the bill to 20th November 2024 and it was seconded by Hoarafushi constituency member Ali Moosa.
Lastly, when the bill was opened for discussion on how to proceed, the meeting concluded with the decision to go ahead with the bill review after receiving further comments from Ministry of Economic Development and trade.
