Summary
In Today's meeting, the committee interviewed the individuals nominated by the President to appoint as a member of the Maldives Broadcasting Commission in accordance with Article 223 (b) of the Standing Order of the Parliament.
Thereafter, the members of the Committee awarded marks as they saw fit, as per ‘the criteria to be assessed in awarding marks’, set by the General-Purpose Committee in accordance with Article 223 (c) of the Standing Order of the Parliament.
The committee chairperson asked for a vote to approve the committee’s decision on the interviewed individuals (nominated by the President to appoint as a member of the Election Commission and the Maldives Broadcasting commission).
