Summary

In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the following issues sent to the committee on the 12th sitting of the 2025 1st session of the Parliament held on March 10, 2025.

-    The issue sent by the President on the matter of appointment of the Ambassador to the United Kingdom Ms. Irtisham Adam as the non-resident ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain.

-    The issue sent by the President on the matter of appointment of the Ambassador to the Republic of Singapore, Mr. Mohamed Luvez, as the Non-Resident Ambassador to New Zealand.

South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain proposed to appoint the Ambassador to the United Kingdom Iruthisham Adam, Ha. Orchid, as a non-resident ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, and to appoint the ambassador to the Republic of Singapore Mr. Mohamed Luveiz, as a non-resident ambassador to New Zealand. It was seconded by Vaikaradhoo Constituency Member Abdulla Ziyad. The proposal was passed unanimously.
