In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the issue referred during the 18th sitting of the 1st session of Parliament 2025, held on April 7, 2025.

Vilingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez proposed to set the deadline for reviewing the issue as April 10, 2025, for the completion of reviewing this issue and since the appointee has already been appointed as an ambassador, there is no requirement to review the record or hold an interview with the appointee. It was seconded by South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain. The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
