In today's meeting, the committee reviewed the issue sent to the committee on the 18th sitting of the 2025 1st session of the Parliament held on April 7, 2025.

Vilingili Constituency Member Azim Abdul Azeez proposed to appoint the ambassador to Republic of Türkiye Lieutenant General (Retired) Abdul Raheem Abdul Latheef, G.Kanditholhiaage, as the non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Azerbaijan. It was seconded by South Fuvahmulah Constituency Member Ibrahim Hussain and Kendhikulhudhoo Constituency Member Mohamed Afoo Hamid. The proposal was passed unanimously by the members present.
