Resource Kits for Teachers
People’s Majlis Secretariat, in collaboration with Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) developed a resource kit specifically designed for Social Studies teachers of Maldives. This kit contains fact sheets about Majlis, lesson plans and PPTs that teachers can utilize when conducting lessons related to Parliament. This resource kit aligns with the learning outcomes set in the National Curriculum of Key Stages 1,2 and 3 of Social Studies. Although this subject is not taught for Key Stage 4 students, an additional pack has also been developed for students from 9th grade and above, ensuring that older students also have access to relevant education materials related to Majlis functions and processes.

Handbook for Media and Civil Society Organizations
The People’s Majlis Secretariat and Westminster Foundation for Democracy (WFD) have jointly developed Handbooks for the Civil Society Organization (CSOs) of Maldives and Media to further support their efforts towards increasing public knowledge and participation in the work of the Majlis. In addition to a brief overview of functions of the Majlis, these handbooks also highlight how Media and CSOs can further engage with Majlis.
