Media and CSOs Training

Recognizing Media and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) reach to the grassroots of Maldivian communities, this program aims to increase Media and CSO’s knowledge about the role and responsibilities of Majlis and inform them about the key areas of engagement and participation in the legislative process.

Under this program, the following components will be covered:

• Introduction to Majlis and key constitutional powers of Majlis
• Legislative Processes
• CSOs and Media engagement with Majlis: Why and How
• Importance of public participation in the legislative process
