In this meeting, the Committee continued its work on the removal of Prosecutor General Aishath Bisham from office. However, since she resigned from the position, the Committee decided that there was no reason for the Committee to continue with this issue. Next, the Committee reviewed the report from Judicial Service Commission regarding the removal of Supreme Court Justice AbdulGhanee Mohamed from office. The Committee unanimously decided that the investigation were conducted in accordance with Judicial Service Commission Act and that the Commission have followed the procedures. And, the Committee extended the deadlines set for Committee works to 2nd December 2019.
