In this meeting, the Committee discussed the pending works of the Committee, and extended the deadlines set for those works to 6th February 2020. Next, the Committee decided which of the main Committee members would sit in the sub-Committee which would review the issue of convicts jailed with long jail sentences who were having a hard time getting parole. This was an issue sent to both Human Rights and Gender Committee and the Judiciary Committee by the Speaker. And, the Committee discussed a letter from former Justice of the Supreme Court Adam Mohamed Abdulla.
