In today's meeting, committee discussed the public comments on petition calling to reinforce Maldivian in tourism industry, who have faced economic hardship due to Covid-19. Next, committee discussed petition urging to protect and provide fundamental rights of Fisherman (Yellowfin tuna/Bluefin tuna), and proposed to meet with the Minister of Fisheries, Agriculture and Marine Resources and Permanent Secretary of the ministry. Lastly, committee concluded the meeting by discussing the petition calling for revising the decision on not conducting SSC Qur'an exam, and thus decided to meet with Minister of education and relevant parties of the said Ministry.
