at first on today's meeting the committee discussed on the issue regarding the current regulation which allows tourist resorts to dump waste into the oceans. regarding this issue the committee decided to meet below mentioned authorities to discuss about finding a solution to the matter. 1- Ministry of Environment; 2- Ministry of Tourism; 3- Environmental protection agency; 4- Maldives Association of Tourism Industry; 5- Waste Management Corporation. After that the committee discussed about the issue regarding ADB funding to establish a Liquefied Natural gas station in Maldives. The committee decided to meet government authorities and experts to discuss about the matter.
