The committee discussed regarding a recommendation of Environment and Climate change Committee, to enable an effective insurance system by Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture to farmers, to overcome from national tragedies effecting their profession or source of income within 3 Months and requesting the Economic Committee to oversee the progress of this system. The Committee decided to meet with Insurance Companies after analyzing the comments given by Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture with discussion of Insurance Operators in Maldives. Then, committee decided to gather information from relevant authorities regarding the concerns of Cable Tv Operators.
